EXPERIENCE A PRO BRIGHT SMILE

The Process

Our team will guide you through the whitening process to complete this self- administered 20-minute LED teeth whitening session. All products used in our process are created in a United States sanitized lab allowing you to feel comfortable and safe. Once you have unsealed the package, you will place the gel-filled mouthpiece over your teeth with verbal instruction from our staff for placement accuracy. From there, you will place the LED light safety goggles on your eyes, and our team will begin the LED light timer. All you have to do is sit back and relax for 20 minutes while our state-of-the-art technology does all the work!

The science behind it:  Carbamide peroxide and oxygen will break into water molecules and free hydroxyl radicals.  The oxygen radicals combined with carbon-based molecules on a discolored surface removes discoloration.  This process will penetrate the tooth enamel but will not damage the enamel.

Aftercare Instructions

After a whitening session with us, your enamel will be microscopically porous and will reharden after 24 hours.  During this 24-hour period you can still eat and drink, but you must be careful as you are now 12-15 times more susceptible to staining until you are back to your normal state. Dark beverages like coffee, tea, dark sodas, wine and even colored drinks like Gatorade should be avoided. Lighter beverages such as Sprite, light beers, and white wine are fine to consume. Foods that should be avoided include dark vegetables such as kale and broccoli, red sauce, berries, or anything that might stain a white blouse. Tobacco products should also be avoided. Once this 24-hour period has passed, you are free to consume any food and beverage you please.

Note, this waiting period is not necessary if a whitening is followed by a 10 minute session with our Blue Minerals Sealer, at an additional cost.

Frequently Asked Questions

IS IT SAFE?

Research has shown that if the teeth and gums are normal and healthy there are no adverse effects to bleaching one’s teeth.  People with tooth decay and with any type of gum disease should avoid this treatment as well as anyone on a medication that makes them light sensitive.

We do not treat pregnant women; there are no known side effects, but it is simply a precaution.

If you have staining from medication (like tetracycline or minocycline), ask your dentist if whitening is for you. Results last 6 months to a year and are safe for caps and crowns and veneers but will not make them whiter than their original color.  Your natural teeth cannot be bleached whiter than genetically possible. All teeth are different.  Most customers see 2 to 5 shades depending on their starting shade.

ARE THERE SIDE EFFECTS?

Some people may feel a little tingling sensation, white gum line, or sensitivity, all of which are normal and hold no real danger.  Typically, this will only last from a few hours to 24 hours.
